Texas

Although many do not know it, Texas is the second state regarding the population in the United States. Population is around the figure of 30 million. The population is very diversified, cultural and traditional. Texas is not traditionally known by tourism, but it should be.  On the territory of Texas there are a lot of destinations that you must be sure to visit if you ever come to this state located in the middle South.

From local souvenirs shops take some of the cowboy symbols, whose price is very acceptable, then try homemade chili and mustard, which are best served with meat and sausages. Rodeo is a part of American folklore. Texas is the hosts for the annual competition with prestigious awards that can go as high as several hundred thousand dollars. Be sure to try some of the specialties: Tex-Mex, corn dogs, barbeque ribs, meat loaf, chicken-fried steak, tamales, corn bread and many others.

A city without a scowl could make you unpleasantly surprised by their silos and faceless buildings, but if you come to feel happiness, then you have to give him more opportunities.Walk out of town and drive surrounded by “jinx” of red rock in Palo Duro Canyon, the second highest in the United States.Observe bison at sunset or have a good time in the Amarillo Livestock Auction where good fun is guaranteed.

Austin

The capital of the US state of Texas provides a good insight into the tradition of the south, but it is also a place of important cultural events.Austin is only the fourth largest city in Texas; much larger than it are Dallas and Houston.It is known as a city of numerous cultural events.Every March there is held festival of music, film and multimedia called “South by Southwest”, which gathers more than 20,000 people from around the world.With a wonderful climate with lots of sun and humidity this city lives 24 hours.There are many clubs and restaurants open all night.
