Although many do not know it, Texas is the second state regarding the population in the United States. Population is around the figure of 30 million. The population is very diversified, cultural and traditional. Texas is not traditionally known by tourism, but it should be.  On the territory of Texas there are a lot of destinations that you must be sure to visit if you ever come to this state located in the middle South.

From local souvenirs shops take some of the cowboy symbols, whose price is very acceptable, then try homemade chili and mustard, which are best served with meat and sausages. Rodeo is a part of American folklore. Texas is the hosts for the annual competition with prestigious awards that can go as high as several hundred thousand dollars. Be sure to try some of the specialties: Tex-Mex, corn dogs, barbeque ribs, meat loaf, chicken-fried steak, tamales, corn bread and many others.
